Mornin’ all. A nice relaxing day over here in t’tropics so I’ve been thinking up a few little teasers to test you this Sunday. No Googling please, just see if you can wrack your brains for the correct answers.

1: What was the registration plate of the car used by the Ghostbusters?

2: What was the name of Keyser Soze’s lawyer? (Extra point if you can name the British actor who played him)

3: Which fictional director created the legendary ‘rockumentary’ “This is Spinal Tap”?

4: And speaking of Spinal Tap, what was the name of the album they had just released and were promoting on their ill-fated American tour?

5: Who drove a DMC-12 backwards and forwards?

6: Roger, Dominic and Tony. Who were they working for, what were they after and what sort of cars did they drive?

7: In this fabulous movie, chock-a-block with fabulous car chases, this person played a fraudulent, cowardly and car sick ex-SAS officer turned mercenary. Name the movie, name the British actor playing the part and name the key point he could not remember which was put to him exposing him as a fraud.

8: Maverick/?: Iceman/?

9: Tom Sizemore, Robert DeNiro and Val Kilmer were three extremely intelligent yet ruthless crims in this exceptional movie. Name the movie please.

10: Referring to the movie above, name the actor playing the shouty lead detective who was following their every move in order to bring them down.

11: Where is Axel Foley’s home city?

12: His screen name was Martin and he was a gun-for-hire with a desire to go to his high school reunion, (and kill someone while he was there). Name the actor who plays Martin and name the movie please.

First prize is an all-expenses-not-paid day humping bags of cement around Wurlycorner’s Bat-Cave like garage. Second prize is an entire weekend doing much the same.

Good luck and may the force be with you ;)

Yep, ECTO 1, I think.

I think for 8, he's actually asking for Goose (Then Sundown?), and.... I can't remember.

Thank you to the Usual Suspects for your dazzling display of trivia knowledge.
The boys done good but Doggo is absolutely right, perhaps my question was a little cryptic. Anyway, pop-pickers, here's the answers:
1: ECTO 1
2: Kobayashi played by the magnificent Peter Postlethwaite.
3: Rob Reiner was the director but his fictional part was named Marti De Bergi.
4: Smell the Glove. ("what's wrong with being sexy...?")
5: Marty and the Doc in Back to the Future.
6: The drivers of the minis, after the Chinese gold in "The Italian Job". (Good point merc, working for Charlie but ultimately responsible to Mr Bridger.)
7: "Ronin". Yes, Sean Bean played the fraudulent SAS guy and spot on merc, it was "the colour of the boathouse at Hereford" that De Niro caught him out on.
8: Doggo was spot on here. I was looking for the wingmen of both pilots: Maverick / Goose & Iceman / Slider.
9: The stunning "Heat" (never get tired of watching that film)
10: Al "gimme a corfee" Pacino.
11: He came from his home city of Detroit to Beverly Hills.
12: John Cusak in Grosse Point Blank.

As you've all done a brilliant job I'm awarding the spoils of victory as a team prize as I'm feeling so generous. @Wurlycorner, here's the lads who've so kindly offered their services to rebuild your garage.
Thanks gents and very well done. ;)
