Philippine and Australia Honda/Jap scene meets in December?

Lisa and I are off to the Philippines next month (a mates wedding, at which I am best man
) and 'cause we're more than half way there and I've been going mad on the credit card anyway this year, we decided to go on that extra bit further to Australia afterwards.
So...
Just strikes me, while we're out there, would be
to catch up with the jap car scene in those places, if possible..?
Anyone know anything about what might be going on when and where?
Chiefly we'll be in Manilla in the Philippines and we're going to Sydney in Aus.
