Or just the simple jobs I decided to tackle?
Or simply just moi ?!!!
First,
I simply wanted to replace the front speakers -
- remove speaker grilles
- replace speakers
- fit back grilles
DONE!
Oh, no.
U HAVE TO REMOVE THE DOOR CARD FIRST!!!

Next,
Today wanted to remove cabin fan to clean - been
making some rustling noises inside.
Thanks to a member pointing me to the forum wiki:
Looks easy enough:
WAIT!
This looks NOTHING like the diagram above?!!!
Ok, if i just losely follow the instructions I can remove it...
NO CHANCE!
It would NOT budge!
What if I remove the heater (black box on its right)?
NOPE, that would budge!
After removing 5 bolts - thd heater seems to be permanently cemented to the chassis!!!
I give up

Whatever way the speaker is in it wont please every one

On the 5th gen you have to remove the speaker to get the door card off
The black box to the right of the blower motor is the AC evaporator. It will not move as it is hard lined to the AC system.

Oh

Ok, i ll re-bolt the black box back in then ...
How to remove blower?
Now that its wedge between the black box (right) and
partially blocked by the glove box surround (left) and
that it dosent want to budge anyway (after removing all the bolts / screws from the diagram) ....

The manual says to remove as much of the glove box surround as possible. How many bolts have you removed on the blower? There should be 3? I bet that supporting bracket between the blower and the AC evaporator needs removed too.

Everything!
Glove box
Glove box frame (metal bar)
Another metal bar
3 bolts to blower (plus one hidden under)
Black box 5 bolts
Its just feels like something is bolted to the back of blower to something ...

Glove box frame removed
Hidden bolt (holds the metal bar in place):
Metal bar removed
3bolts to blower
4th bolt hidden underneath

I'd remove the metal bracket between the blower and the evaporator, it looks like it is only held on by two bolts. Then try and remove all the bolts for the blower. After that it should come out, if not it may be catching on the scoop for the cold air feed.

Metal bracket removed!
Both of em (one holds the blower, other holds black box).
Right.
Think i found an easier way...
Just remove blower fan (not casing)...
