Just wanted to provide a last update, as I'm heading off on Monday, and start the ride on Tuesday :o :scaredtoss:

Well the best laid plans of mice and men and all that..... we had pre booked train tickets from Paddington - Penzance and reserved spaces for the bikes. Sorted.

Or not.

Some union thought it would be a great idea to have a train strike over the whole bank holiday weekend, thanks for that.
After a slight HELP! moment and a post on arsebook, I was really overwhelmed with the offers of help we got, for lifts etc.
However, that splendid chap Rich (at PAW) saved our bacon with an offer to borrow his Panzerwagon TM

Also managed to get some exposure in the local paper, muggins in the centre:

So now we're all set for the road trip to the start, and 1000 miles on the bike.

I just wanted to says thanks once more to everyone on here that has sponsored me - so far I've raised nearly £2800 and have a promise of another £500 from a company, plus the other lads have raised about £2500 each for this great cause.

I will do my best to keep a 'blog' of sorts each night, probably on my own website, for my own sanity as much as anything else.

For now, THANK YOU, it means a lot. :)

See you on the other side....
