I think it's nice... scenic, lots of farmland etc, fairly quiet, quaint little village centres. Quite rural without being too far from things. Overall I think it's decent, but like I say I'm just a passer by in the most part so my view may differ from actual residents, although I do only live 30 mins up the road

@lewd lude lover Are you the rather distinguished looking bloke driving a black/dark blue (it was getting dark!) 5G I saw in Halifax on Friday 2nd January around 4pm-ish? That was the only Prelude I saw (other than Wayne's) my entire trip. Looked very swish matey.

I had friends that lived in Northallerton for a long time and I worked for a company with their HQ in York, so have spent a fair bit of time up there over the years.

I'm assuming there's a plot of land up there that you're interested in?
