My dad lives near Bradford if that helps...I'll be visiting him in a few weeks.

Is it a car that you're wanting to look at or just some parts?

A car. It's a long way from me in South Wales but potentially a good deal. I don't want to put anyone out though so if nobody near by I'll leave it as to much of a gamble to drive 190 miles each way! I only asked here as I know it's a good community, I've been away for a while now as had to grow up apparently when the kids started!

I know the feeling. I used to know some people from Sheffield but I wouldn't trust them with looking at a car (as they're not mechanically minded).

That's OK mate it's no problems. I'm thinking of knocking this one on the head. It's a cat d car and owner said he bought it a year ago having already been fixed but has no paperwork or receipts for the repairs. Few red flags I think.

I remember when I had my Lude and was on here. You've got a garage somewhere up blackwood way isn't it?

Bought a couple of cat D's in my time. Just give them a thorough look over and you'll be fine, nothing too scarey tbh.

Not too worried about the cat c or d, only that the guy doesn't have any paperwork to show what the damage was or any receipts for the repairs. He was Polish and his English wasn't the best mind so there maybe a screwed up receipt for the work and he didn't understand what I was asking for, but 400 miles is a long drive to take that gamble!
