Imaginatively titled... The Classic Car Show
Guess what it's about

Count Quentuala himself and Jodie Kidd as presenters.

I only noticed it by accident, currently watching it on Demand 5.

Less than impressed.
Tried to cram too much in, so learned nothing about the cars.
No chemistry between presenters.

What's it for?

I just watched this too.

The guy has no respect for personal space. Weirdo creeping on Jodie Kidd aka Sid from Ice Age.

I thought it was alright, not brilliant but alright.
It's aimed at a different market to something like wheeler dealers or classic car rescue, which aim to tell you quite a bit about the car as well.
I liked the fact they featured classic car ads and a barn find and classic versus modern interpretation (I'd not actually noticed how much of a rip off the sls is before tbh, probably because I don't pay it any attention...) Thought those features were an interesting and different addition. Totally disagreed that the studebacker was beyond saving - I thought it looked solid and in pretty good order, tbh - things that usually get completely trashed like the dash and the seats, particularly!

I know where you're coming from Donald, but I think Kidd is the sort of person that if she thought Quentula was creeping on her, she'd soon have slapped him down without batting an eyelid, camera or no camera  he was moving around a hell of a lot on the sofa, I did think he looked not at all at home on what was a ridiculously oversized and shaped bit of furniture

Anyway, after a long and knackering day at work, I was pleased to gorge myself on car programmes to chill out. This on C5, then from quest OD, wheeler dealers and some other old classic car programme featuring Penny Malory, Ed China and the legendary Tony Mason

:? I always think it's interesting the way car's reputations change relative to each other over time. Sometimes it seems some comparatively innocuous characteristic can elevate or depress value beyond all proportion.

Just the way you phrased that got me thinking, Kristoffer.

(Ps. Based on your signature I think you need a more reliable car ;) )
