Clutch Release Bearing

Post by K30DPC » Sun Feb 15, 2015 12:44 am

Not sure am I in good place with my question so I leave this to mods.

Did you guys ever used Blueprint clutch release bearing part number ADH23313 95720? Is it any good or something to rather be avoided? Mine koyo gave up after only 2 years and around 15000 miles so I'm looking for replacement. Not sure yet how much Honda will ask for new one but looking for one from exedy kit I'm not sure do I wanna pay for another koyo bearing. Will give them a try on Monday anyway.

Another thing. Is it possible that damaged bearing will develop winning sound while driving and stacionary, dissapearing only when clutch pedal was pressed? I was quite sure it was my gearbox dropped oil while we were going for Xmass to Poland, but today I found out MTF was still there and it was nice in colour without anything unexpected when drained. On clutch cover I found marks where release bearing pressing springs and I can feel they are quite deep. I bought another gearbox but now I'm not so confident mine has failed. When hand spinning shaft both are same "noisy" ;) and I can't see/hear any difference between them. So I'm in doubt which one to put back on the car

Thanks in advance
