Checkout the top images. You can adhere it to your dash with a sticky pad. Or otherwise checkout the bottom left image ;-)

Simple to operate and gives decent images.

My mate bought a couple for his work vans the weekend. Forgot the make, didn't have my glasses with me, about 50 quid a pop , I believe, can either be charged on a laptop or used on ciggy lighter.

All depends what you wanna use it for. If for track actions personaly I Would go for action camera (preferably GoPro - which I have, or clone) because of full HD, frame rate and countless amount of accesories. For everyday, public road use this is good enough, but again I would choose one which also can film rear view at the same time.

Hi Paul, forgive me for asking but what are you going to use the camera for? There seems to be a huge upsurge in people over here with them, used primarily as an accident witness tool (rather than just a toy to film oneself blasting the road). Not prying, just wondering. Ta, Simon.

Me!

With the SJ4000 you can have it set for dashcam mode where as soon as you turn the ignition on the camera will start recording. I will be using this setup to make recording my track vids easier. Plus it will record in 1080p 8-)
