I am having my kitchen re tiled and I need some help ATM I have 145 6inchx6inch tiles can some one who went to school and listened rather than trying to look up the girls skirts tell me how many square metres I need. (I knew my mis spent youth would catch up one day!) :lol:

If I sod this up the extra 5 square metres will just about cover your headlamps! :lol:

Allowing for a 4mm grout line (which is a bit big for wall but just an example) 150mm per tile. 3.04 square metres would be exact but go with 3.5 to allow proper grout lines (I recommend 1.5mm) plus waste

Sorry its 3.26 square metres but still 3.5 will be enough

Thanks chris as they sell by a square metre I will need 4 then but at £10 a sm thats fine :D

It's actually 3.37m2, so just don't go breaking too many if you've bought 3.5m worth Paul ;-)
