What nice people and... Shock horror!

My local Honda dealer parts dept.
They're always friendly and helpful, but in my recent visit I got chatting with them more than usual. Turns out the parts dept manager used to have a 2g for his wife (he had a company dealer car) and they kept that for the longest of any car they'd owned (7 years).
Also they were telling me they have another customer that comes in regularly for parts for his NSX (sounds like a guy that likes to work on it himself and when he services something, likes to do a full job and use all new oem parts). They were telling me how disappointed they were that Honda didn't still sell everything for it and that they didn't seem to support older models very well (I told them they should try owning a Citroen! ) because one of the things he'd wanted in his list this week (a bottom rad hose) was no longer available.
The parts manager said he was so disappointed, he contacted Honda UK and has persuaded them to contact Honda Japan to see if they can source one or find an alternative

So anyway, all that cobblers aside... The SHOCK horror was that I went in today for some parts for the 3g and... Everything I asked for was available! And even more shocking than that... 2 of the 4 items were in Swindon and of the other 2, 1 was in Belgium! :o
:suicide:

(The rear bumper bar is coming from the Philippines)

I always find my local Honda dealer (Norton Way) really helpful.
Have always been really willing to source parts, answer all questions, which there's a lot of and... Supply me free drinks when I take my car in :D

I was after various fixings for the rear bumper (after I'd had to drill a few out on mine) and a new rear bumper bar (after I discovered mine was snapped and a new one wasn't as ridiculously expensive as I'd expected)

I am surprised about the fixings though, because they're not ones that are used on a 4g.
