how much for a gasket !!!!!!!!!!

so as some of you might no my 4g was brought as a on going project so there are lots of bits i need to source one of which was a exhaust manifold which i now have but still needed a gasket so i happened to be going past a honda garage so poppped in to get a gasket the parts guy said that will be £43.12 +vat

i dont have one would you like me to order that in for you sir good job i was sat down

yup expensive. But with a metal gasket you can get a fair few uses out of them. Ive re used mine 2 or 3 times now without issues.

i should think you can for that money only good thing was i now had the honda part number so after so ebay bashing got a fai gasket for £8.18 posted

ive got a couple fo the old triple layer OEM metal gaskets - you cant get better imo

and like Thebusofwoe says you can reuse them

the one i got is triple layer metal seems top quality to me
