112 mph!!!!!!

Picked up the type s yesterday
Wow what a difference to the vti this thing comes
into it's own at 80
Playing with a z350 hit 112 and bam cut
Still git the speed limit
Well at least is never had the top end thrash?

You need a speed m8 basic v3, I've done the type s and it's abit of a pain to keep the vtec in 1st and delimited so just get one of them and it'll be perfect. There is a thread somewhere with all the info but here's the number for them 01332 855100 I think it's around £60

If you already have a mph convertor then you'll want to remove that aswell

between having top speed and VTEC in first, I would choose to have VTEC in first. :idea:

Been there! Got my Prelude to 133 MPH was right behind a 4.6litre Mustang GT and kept up with it. I switched my motor out to an H23A Vtec Blue Top and I have pushed it only to 90 MPH and revved it only up to like 6200RPM. Motor is running off a chipped ECU so want to get a good tune before I go running it hard.

Up to and including 4th gear the Type-S will out perform the 97-98 VTi based on gear ratio's alone, not taking in to account the 30bhp difference. The UK got the shitty end of the stick when it came to gearboxes (apart from the 99+ 5G and ATR).
