I apologise in advance for a thread that's bound to end up going in one direction only of course  However, it did occur to me over the weekend that this was an interesting idea...

So, thinking only of forum members that you haven't already met, who would you most like to meet and why?

I'd have to go with Doggo, purely because I am utterly bemused by what kind of strange being it is that peruses our pages, making such utterly random, yet educated, imaginative and humorous content!

Sadly, Wurly, I'm much better in print than person. That's not false modesty.... those who've met me will tell you I'm usually a very dull fellow.

Without wishing to sound like a Love In, I'd go for you or Donald for broadly similar reasons. I suspect there's a few others on here like P91 who'd also be good down the pub, though too.

Actually quite a few others, now I think about it... bad idea... gets difficult to think who not to mention :-/

And Nitin for bum fun, obviously.

You don't want to meet me.

I think a more fun game is: If you could swap someone you've already met for a new person, who would they be? :poke:

I've thought of something like this before now, but thought it'd only end in heart break.

... Or worse :suicide:

For me though, bennyboy, Indigolemon and Merlin... And jjmartin and lude-dude (Although I swear I must have met him in the early years at a show). Newkid and shiny and Pushki.

... GB-lude, Froidas and eDaniel

Oh you said member, scrap that then...

... Gorgon... I miss him

Yeah, gorgon was fun.
And to top it all, worse than gorgon going, that was when some gentleman's sausage called Donald also came along!

A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains forever.
The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises.
The wind blows to the south and goes around to the north; around and around goes the wind, and on its circuits the wind returns.
All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams flow, there they flow again.
All things are full of weariness; a man cannot utter it; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there a thing of which it is said, "See, this is new"? It has been already in the ages before us.
There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of later things yet to be among those who come after.
