You'll be looking at 5k at LEAST to import. Imo try Tegiwa, Lichfield imports, Tokyo squad or jjmartin on here.

I am currently importing through torque gt. Your price is way too cheap in my opinion, I was always checking out the jap auction sites, and still do to get ideas of price and available quality. I'm not saying what I paid for mine but I should be collecting it very soon so will bang some pictures up then, and a few more details on the process.

As per all the posts above (plus the PM I've replied to ;) ) the price you've been quoted doesn't stack up unfortunately. If you take out the shipping cost and clearance fees then you're left with approximately a grand to buy the car (plus presumably the importer's margin) :? The market data available suggests they fetch a fair bit more than that, even the ropey ones. I'd be very reluctant to hand over my money to them on that basis.

If it would be helpful I'd be happy to keep an eye out for some decent examples for you in order to give you an idea of what you can get versus cost :)

It does sound cheap.

ICM have quite a big presence on the net, so shouldn't be too difficult to check out. Many of their execs, as listed on LinkedIn, aren't based in Japan at all. Actually, I think they're based in Karachi.

There are also some complaints about them on the web. Better safe than sorry.

We import. Shipping alone is around £1000, so your quote is waaaay too cheap. You should be expecting to spend around £5k all in.
