heath robinson

so i decided to dig out my airbrush yesterday to get ready for use, then half way through thought sh*t
the compressor is knackered as i suddenly remembered i used it on a daft experiment last year. so standing in the shed thinking damn, i see my 12v tyre pump on the shelf (yes i know it should be in my boot) so i think hey what if..
ok so now i realise i need some kind of reservoir, and some way of connecting them, so i cut the pipe in half on the tyre pump (it was free) but now i dont have any T pieces, what would heath robinson do. so here we go final set up.
tyre pump running off 12 supply, pumping air into a pop bottle which now has 3 pipes coming out and are sealed in place by silicon sealer (this is the T piece) the the air from there goes to a reservoir (spare tyre) and to the air brush.
so does it work YES im amazed the airbrush slightly outruns the tyre pump so a larger tyre will have to be commisioned for the actual spray job, but as it is it isnt bad (around 60 seconds of continuous use, but its not continuous use i need, if i stop every 20 sec or so it will be good)
how heathy is that
