My BB4 "granada black beauty

Have a read of my build to see the work that's gone in and more pictures..

So as some know I'm no longer in the UK but my lude is and the parents are throwing the idea of me selling my beloved prelude which I definitely don't want to do but it is going to just deteriorate if sat for too long even though it's in a dry shed..
I have all of the parts to make the car look as it does in all three photos below so it's 3 cars in one 1 really ;)
Currently it looks like the bottom one as I was close to having it all ready for some track time but that never happened..

I bought her in February 14, with a serious oil burning issue.
It was so bad it would oil the plugs up and refuse to run if not warmed up and the smoke from the back was just ridiculous so I set about an engine rebuild strait away..

The engine does have a bit of an oil leak from the balance shaft seals and crank seals I think which I sadly didn't change when I had the engine out but I was guna do a lot more to this engine in future as it's very strong now and really does pull well. She has 5th gear crunch, which I just double clutched to stop that..
The body work is not brilliant and could do with arches doing properly and a re spray to get it perfect..
I have got some loads of parts to go with it if I do choose to sell, such as all standard parts apart from steering wheel, and springs.. Also some trick bits suck as 4 pot Brembo calipers, ITB's on h22 mani and 15mm wheel spacers to get the big breaks on..

I am just trying to get an idea of what it's worth at the moment so any input welcome

No-one wants you to part with it, so everyone's staying quiet ;)

don't do it @JEBB4 :( if your parents want the space for storage I could ask the wife if we could store it at our place if you'd like?

if you do have to sell it, i'd sell the unfitted extras separately (ill help do that for you if you like as your not in the UK to do it lol :)

The car itself, with all the equipment installed id estimate at 2.5-3k

maybe someone after a new project such as @Dino could be interested in the car plus all the bonus bits as well huh huh hint hint ;)

If you are saying the arch repairs you did in your build need doing again then I think you will make more money stripping it for parts unfortunately, not that I like seeing that happening to Preludes. Maybe a compromise would be putting it back to standard and selling the aftermarket parts separately?

Because of the arches if you are selling as is I would say you may get £1500-£1750 but will have to be patient and wait for a buyer. A Prelude is not really the sort of car you buy on a whim, you either want a Prelude or you don't so the pool of potential buyers is quite small.

Cheers for the input guys..
I don't want to sell at all Nafe because as you know I had big plans before I left and i don't feel like it's anywhere near finished, but there may come a day where it has to go..

Well there is no chance of it going as is for like 1500 as there's probably twice as much in bits on it..
I think it might just have to wait till I come back on a holiday so I can strip it.. I think I would just sell the car in standard form then ship all my parts over and build another over here rather than sell the parts I have collected.
