Hi all,
I have a job up in Glasgow next week, I'll be there for one night and a couple of colleagues will be there for 2.
The job is Govan area.
Any help on whether that's a decent area to stay in or if there's somewhere better nearby, easily accessible by public transport please?

Obviously I know that used to be industrial heart-land (ship building etc) so proclaiming Thatcher as my hero and wearing green and white probably wouldn't be a goood idea
(Though adhering to neither of those is a problem for me!)

Coincidence?
However, Glasgow in 2013-14 fell from the top spot in league tables for other categories of crimes per capita, with Fife emerging as the area with the most sex crimes and Edinburgh with the most housebreakings.
But Fife saw its sex offences climb even faster, from 465 in 2012-13 to 831 in 2013-14. That fired its overall figure per 10,000 to 26.3 per cent, shunting Glasgow off its top spot.
