Sooo,

I've been running on Vpower since my tuning at PAW and have been getting 23 - 23.5 mpg as an average (still driving it hard).

Anyway, wanted to fill up last week and the garage was out of Vpower  so I had to put some of Tescos Momentum 99 in.

Finished the tank today, still driving hard, and did exactly the same route everyday on both tanks. The Tesco 99 gave me just over 25 mpg

Before asked, my calcs are right. It's always taken from a full tank, miles noted on refill and calculated from the fuel taken to put it back to a full tank. For example; 212 miles / 38.23 L * 4.52 (convert to gallons) is my calculation from this morning and I always work it out this way.

Thanks for that Paul.

I always use 4.52 so even if it's not excatly right the numbers are still comparable.

I always get a little more on Momentum also. Though lately I've been putting in Shell regular and the engine sure seems quieter.

All very odd.

Funny you should say this.

My car is mapped on V-Power also.

However, I also filled up last week on Tesco 99.

MPG isnt an issue, but the car didnt have as much go as she usually does in comparison to when running on V-Power.

V-power for me from now on

Now you've reminded me dino mine did seem a bit flat compared to the usual vpower feel but the mpg was a bit of a shock! Especially when the momentum 99 is 6pence per litre cheaper than vpower from my local
