Mum's after one of these for Christmas. Wants one that does front and rear. Not something I've ever looked into so any advice would be appreciated.

I've got a Mini0805 on my windscreen, good camera, small and discreet. It's not a dual recorder though.

I have this one on the watchlist.

Seems pretty compact and straight forward. I will prob end up getting one with a remote second camera but this one scored pretty high for me.

Don't really understand rear facing cameras that aren't a dedicated rear camera that can be mounted in the rear of the vehicle, unless it's just the passengers reactions you're after.

I think so you can see whats going on all around the car even though the angle is not great? I agree the dedicated remote cameras are far better but these are one unit covering 270degrees or nearabouts. A compromise on functonality maybe.
