Well she seems happy enough and better for her to live a happy life for quite a few years than not to ever be given that chance as being put down as a pup !

Psychologically but not physiologically. Adaption can't necessarily transcend evolution
But yes, as freaky said I suppose it's better to have a life (of a certain quality) than not at all

Unfortunately this is probably a result of selective breeding, it's quite a common birth defect in chiuhauhau's for example. You could say the same thing about retrievers having bad hips and hearts though, just this is a lot more apparent. Nice to see somebody gave it a chance to live a life and be part of a family though

yep i agree, i never realy like this PUT IT OUT OF ITS MISERY statement, im sure if i were in misery i wouldnt want to be either (just leave me in my misery please) also - its the kindest thing (said in a sypathetic way), what a load of crap how can it be kind your going to kill me
