Lude Generation

Went work early in the morning and finished at 2pm hoping to come back and have a lie in. But no, something had to be fecked up. My driver side window got stuck half way. Wouldn't budge at all.

So took of the door card and sprayed WD-40 everywhere on the window motor hinges(?)/mechanisms. Still wouldn't move at all. Spent like one hour trying to pushing pulling and even trying pooing on the windows.



Luckily, I had two spare Type-S doors in my garage! So went out and ripped the door apart and took out the window motor! I put the motor from the donor doors in to my SiR and tried it on and it works.. It mechanism goes up and down without any problems..



So the only thing I have to do tomorrow on my day off is swap them around and put everything back to where it was!

One thing I noticed when I was fixing the door, I noticed a sticker on the door. It reads this..



LSD?

What's the gearbox code?

I hope you cleaned off the turd. Your window may start sticking again.

Can't remember from top of my head but I read it up before buying the Prelude and I'm sure it wasn't LSD box. Just trying to work out what the sticker means. Optional LSD>

I was scared at first about doing the work myself, but then sod it let's do it. If something goes wrong you lot are here!

is an Sir not a LSD equipped machine from stock?

Go read the code on the gearbox, that will settle it

SiR's had a option to fit LSD from factory with a gearbox code of M2T4.

My M2A4 box has better handling than Ratty's ATTS, cos his car has been dead for years!!!!!
