Upgraded my HTC One m8 to marshmallow yesterday.
Various bits of the look of the new OS I don't really like compared to the last one, but that doesn't matter.
What pisses me right off is that facebook has been force installed and I can't seem to get rid of the drokking thing
The only options in app manager are force stop and disable (which I've done) and also been in and disabled all notifications, cleared cache and data (damn thing had used some even though I hadn't done anything). No uninstall option. Can't even find a folder where the files are, to manually delete them.

Any ideas? Searching on line has not helped.

Welcome to HTC. Pre-installed bloatware, you're stuck with it. They bake it into the read only firmware images. Disable is all you are going to get.
