Calling all turbo ludes

Hola

Had the prelude up for sale but had second thoughts so it's down for the min... that's where I hope you guys can help.

I've been on YouTube and seen a few videos but I'm guessing you guys have private videos or ones that I can't find there. Basically I'm looking to see just how quick a stock block with a turbo can go... no drop in pistons (for now) and lasting a while.

I've read that at low psi and decent tune can make 300 hp and be okay for a good few K yet, my motor is on 131k so still undecided.

Anyways, turbo lude bids below if you can :) looked through a few profiles but there's 60+ pages on some and my head is fried already with offers and not really wanting to sell it lol

Cheers guys

You should ask @ddoubledanny about turboing a stock h22 and how long it will last ;)

You should ask ratty how long a boosted lude lasts.
Do it once and do it properly.

True but what sort of ££
My tuner said 5k and that's without gearbox or traction bars etc

Wow, that's insane... There is a sir BB8 on Gumtree at the moment in Dundee Scotland for £2895 in silver. Worth a look!

The guy is a nice bloke, I sold him some bits and bobs just lately and was going to sell him my crystals blue metallic boot lid with spoiler until he decided it wasn't for him anymore. He prefers his German cars!

£5k for what? Exactly what is included in that £5k.

Pieced together turbo kit installation and mapping on standalone ecu

Seems a bit much tbh

Depends what turbo and what standalone ecu, and how good the manifold and welding is.
If you can find out exactly what that includes then you can see if its value for money.
What injectors, fuel pump?
Exhaust, intake.

£5k is about right. Allow £800-1200 for the ecu and mapping alone.
