Rough idle after storage. Likely culpret? Thinking EGR.

So the lude has been serviced a bit and run up to temp a couple times. Turns out the hot idle is a bit lumpy/rough.

Whats the likely list of things to check first? I have blasted carb cleaner into the intake and the two ports outside the main butterfly and put in new fuel, that didnt help. I'm thinking the egr might be stuck after so long unused?

It sounds fine with a little revs, no wobble or misfires etc. I have yet to take it out for a drive to put some load on it and maybe clear out the cobwebs. That might be all it needs.

Any ideas?

Mine done this after being parked up a whole good day of driving and a good blow out cures it

Could be an injector or two just need a bit of cleaner through them.

Did you drain all the ild fuel out ?

@phil: yes. it still smelt very fuelly and wasnt discoloured but got removed.
@ratty: that or the fitv?
@nathan: I have a bottle of redex ready for the drive over to P.A. so hopefully thats it.
@preludemanh22: I really hope thats all it needs. :lol:

I'll get it over to rich, get it legal and get the spanners out. After so long sat I'm not suprised some gunk has crusted up on something. Cheers for the replies. Nothing mentioned is outside what i was hoping to hear and i will be able to clean all the possible offenders in course of getting it back to a daily.

I don't think the EGR is operation until the engine is warmed up. Like Ratty Says IACV/FITV would be my first port of call.

@merlin: its only rough once its all warmed up mate. Hot idle rough, cold idle is ok. It starts up and warms up fine. Its only after quite a few mins running that it starts to vibrate a bit.
I had egr go in my first lude which felt a little different but almost the same. I'll get it home and start taking things off and getting the carb cleaner out.

EGR IACV FITV VTEC solenoid filter will all get a blast through and we'll see where we are.

Just took my Type-S off the drive and drove around the street. No noises and nasty Revs, but did smoke a lot :?

On the track car, before I knackered the engine, there was an issue with the IACV that only showed up when it was warm. It would idle fine until it got warm and then it would bub-bub-bub-bub-bub-bub-bub away.
