Typical thread, can't find any links.
I need of websites selling all the new cam belt bits I need.
I'm not having any luck, and garages are running their heads with the prelude being an import?!!

Which generation prelude do you have ?
Most of the parts are interchangeable between UK and import ones..

I was under the impression would of been interchangeable. But garages have been scratching their heads.
So now I'm after getting the parts myself, (belt, water pump kit) but can't find a good site.

Belts and water pumps should be the same as any other H22A.. (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

gates belts and blue print water pump or cambelt kits should be on ebay or you can get them at local motor factors
other parts just go to Honda or try online at lings/cox motors honda/h tune etc

yeah all those bits are the same across the range of H22's

Thanks for the help.
A local garage told me they had to specially order a belt for my engine. I did think at the time that was odd, and thought maybe uk and Japanese were the same.
They never got back to me, I decided not to chase them up on it. Clearly didn't want the job!

Took my 1994 bb4 import to Honda dealer, changed it with no problem!

How much did it come to mate? I like the sound of actual Honda machanics working on it
