Hi Guys,

I'm trying to have some lude seats and door cards etc sent from Cornwall - TR15 to St Albans - AL3 and getting fairly wild costs/quotes.

Anyone got any good recommendations or have experience of this so know the weights and sizes involved?

Of course if one of our Cornish members commutes up to London......in a van.... :-?

Any help much appreciated. :)

i could weight one of my spare lude seats, plus measure it - then you have an idea of what to go on?

Try http://www.sendapallet.co.uk/ - I used them to pick up a pallet from @preludemanh22 which had an interior on and it all went smoothly.

I had a quick check and the cost based on the two post codes you put above was £76.80 inc. VAT based on a single pallet sent economy. I send pallets at work frequently, and for the distance I don't think that cost is too bad at all.

Failing that have a look online for any 'man with a van' types based down that way - you might find somebody may do it on the cheap.

I take it you've also tried anyvan, shiply, uship etc.?

There's Cornwall and then there's Camborne, that's a little too deep for me, is the seller happy to wrap it all up? That's the biggest problem I had posting some seats awhile ago, I think I used Paisley freight?

Thanks Drax, a kind offer. 8-) I'll try not to trouble you with that though.

JJ that's great. I haven't tried those no, that's just the sort of site info I was after.
Will check em out right now. :)

Same
I thought about combining it with a trip to see some rels but it's still a very long way from them too TBH.

Will check out Paisley Freight too, ta. 8-)

I'm going to Newquay in my van in August for Boardmasters, you'll probably get it sorted before then but if not I don't mind picking them up whilst I'm there. Assuming the seller would hold them for 3 months

@Wurlycorner is having my rear arches and bonnet.. I don't know how desperate he is to physically possess them, but he may require your assistance as we're not sure on the best way to ship them either.

Although, I have a friend who often travels from Cornwall to Banbury in a Caddy van, I don't know if that's near either of you, but maybe he could help cart some stuff up the line..
