(Apologies if such a thread already existed; did a quick Search but couldn't find one.)

For a bit of silliness...

A Lude by any other name would sound as sweet, but does yours have one? Let's hear it, and the story behind!

"BB1" and "BB4"
ive called them both a few names when they prove difficult to work on

i was going to call the BB1 " The Dog" as it had a large guard dog sitting on the roof of it when i picked it from a scrapyard :)
its still got the scratches on the back window...
would be a bit of a cliche though

The only car I've properly named is my Hilux, she's called Katie because of her number plate. I don't normally name cars though...

Mine was just 'The Prelude' until I got a second one, then it was 'The Black Prelude' too (although technically it was grey, but try explaining the concept of Phantom Grey that to everyone who doesn't own a Prelude) and the other was 'The Red Prelude'.

My Mrs named my Prelude 'Nigella', as it has NGW in the reg (tenuous I know...) and she has curvy hips

The lude, not the Mrs... :bat:

Then again though... :?

My old Lude was called "the Lude" or "the sexy Lude". :)

My old Accord was called "the Shinymobile"

My ATR is called "the Asbo Barge"

My Civic is called "the Civic"

My Odyssey is called "the Ody" or "the Bus".

Inventive, I know.

any car i have owned and named i have crashed or wrapped around a wall so i have stopped naming cars as a matter of willingness to live. Although it could just be my driving got better and i should look to name mine.

Naming ceramony on getting her on the road again.....
