Hey, me again

Im looking at a 4th gen 2.2 at the min and looking a rough idea on what shes worth

Over 100,000 miles
Bb4 Jap import
Tein coilovers
Currently sprayed crv bronze with bubbling arches but guy said he will fiz and spray pirate black
Comes on rota something alloys (white centres with polished lip)

Looks the part but dont know how much to offer him so any advice be great (all my ludes were 5th gens)

Pics needed, particularly of arches, sills and what sort of repair job are we talking on the arches and respray?

I wouldn't bother valuing the Teins. Old Teins corrode for a past time and can creak like your nanny's knees. Even new Teins have a tendency to knock which calls for a rebuild to rectify them.

Sills are good, arches are bubbling alot but metal behind seems solid, just paint bubbling

Probably talking grind back to clean metal, rust treatment and filler overtop before respray

More after a rough guide price as dont want to be paying over the top.
My prev 5th gens cost me 1500 in total for both but were UK spec

Is he by any chance claiming the BB4 is special as it's the lightweight model?

The truth is the BB4 was the poverty spec model, basic base, and the buyer had to buy any extras they wanted.

Don't be, despite it being the base model it is the one to go for, especially if it is pre august 1995

its a prelude with rusty arches ive had a bb4 and a uk bb1 which pissed all over my bb4
