Lo Peops
I have a Garmin satnav and i'm thinking of upgrading to a newer model with a built-in dash cam.
Just wondering if you guys think Garmin or Tom Tom are the better satnav's ?
Cheers all.

Google Maps or Waze on smart phone is by far the best sat-nav I've ever used.

Pumpkin Andoid double din. Use you phone as a mobile hotspot and Google Maps is awesome. Live traffic jams the bloody lot. Sorted.
Can fit dash cams, reverse cams and full interior screens if you fancy.

Our TomTom served us well in Europe.
Useless batteries, though.

Another vote for waze here. It's brilliant. You need 3g data connection though (and data allowance).

I would also throw my vote in for one of these. I have one in my car and its awesome.
Being full android you get to choose what software you use. Waze, google maps or TomTom (for 17.99 per year fo all world maps, traffic, cams etc).

+1. Googlemaps for me. I have used Sony's one and then TomTOM in the past..

Good man.
I guess it's an improvement over my old Barthomew's maps.

O/S fold up maps were the daddies. You needed about 10 of them if you were going on a long trip.
