I had one for 9 months and it done nothing but fall apart, engine was strong, but everything fell apart!

I may have just brought one that wasnt well maintained. As is the chance with every car you buy, its more family friendly than a lude!

Having said that i think even if it didnt fall apart the prelude comes out on top!

Went from a 4G Lude to one 6 years ago. I loved the Lude, but prefer the ATR. It drives/handles better than the Lude and is all round much more practical. 4 doors, massive boot...

There are some abused dogs around, like any old car it has some faults, but apart from a couple of teething problems when I first bought mine it has been very reliable in 6 years of ownership. Recently had sticky callipers where I've not been using it as much but hey, what Honda doesn't suffer from sticky callipers!

Definitely. Looks are obviously down to opinion, but it was the last of the proper type Rs (apart from the newest CTR). Lightweight, stiffened chassis (40% stiffer than the standard Accord), LSD as standard, lush Recaros, Momo steering wheel and an H22A7. Personally I wouldn't go back to a Lude after owning the ATR, as much as I still love them.
