How much is it worth?

Hi all. Just a quick enquiry. Was wondering how much my 2000 Honda Prelude 2.2 vtec is worth. It has a full service history (majority from Honda. Immaculate condition with no rust scratches or dents and has 36,000 original miles (proof in mot documentation). I have owned the car for 3 years and have only done 300 miles a year in it. I have also brought a breathable cover that was made especially for the vehicle. The only modifications I have done is a S200 steering wheel and a set of BC racing coilovers (all original parts still boxed). I am very fussy with this vehicle so it's never been in the wet since I've owned it, but as a precaution have spent £700 on undersealing and waxoil the vehicle. It's also only ever kept in a garage. It's had 3 owners including myself with the second owner only purchasing it to sell to me. Lastly it has been serviced every year with Honda regardless of mileage and have only used vtec twice since I've owned it.

Sounds like quite the example! Would be good to see some pics. The market for Preludes isn't what it should be, although it is picking up. You can normally pick up unmolested 5th gens for under £2500, but yours does sounds delightful, so without pics I'd say within the region of £3000-£3500.

Would love to add pics but unsure how. Ps it's nighthawk black with the gunmetal grey honeycomb grill.

A good colour to
Photobucket is your best bet for uploading pics. You can then paste the "direct link" and use the "Img" tab above. (That will put either side of the link text.)

Here's Nitin's price list for your 2000 Prelude VTEC with only 36,000 miles, couple of mods and full service history.
If it's an Auto then = £2200
If it's a manual with H22A8 then = £3000
If it's manual with Motegi kit = £3300
If the 4WS doesn't work then -£300 from total.

I'd be bold and go for £5000+
If it's a 2000 model VTI then it'll have the A8 engine.
Pictures?

Will take some pics provided it's not raining on the weekend.

I'm thinking in the £3k - £3k.5k region as well.
I wouldn't expect a fast sale though. Unless they're cheap, preludes can take a little while to sell (niche following).
Looking forward to seeing the pics

Is it auto or manual
I'm with norks on this 1. If it's as good as it sounds I would be after around 5K.
Nighthawk black and gunmetal grey grill is a great combo by the way

Thanks. It's a manual with a motegi kit and the H22A8 engine. Hoping to take some pics tomorrow if the rain holds off
