Has anyone ever used a stick on plate if so did you have any bother with getting pulled over etc?

I've used them in the past (two seperate Preludes, years apart) and not had any issues. The first time I was even given a ticket once for the font being too small (import size). It was an import, so I went to the police station to argue my case. They had the head of transport come out to look at it and he agreed the ticket should be revoked. There was absolutely no mention of the plate being stuck on though.

It seems to me that as long as it's legal text and the legal reflectiveness then it's ok. I'm sure different districts will have different thoughts on the matter though.

@si import has also run one for years.

Hi mate . I've run my stick on plate for 4 maybe 5 years now and never had any bother regarding it .
As nafemannathan says aslong as its the legal size I can't see there being any issues .

As in stuck on rather than screwed on?

3m foam pads, job done. I think the only car in years that ive had a screwed on number plate was my Lude as the plate was relocated onto to metal brackets.

I assumed he meant self adhesive plates as he mentioned getting pulled over.
