Bb4 rear wheel archs

Post by Enda » Wed Aug 02, 2017 3:33 pm

Hi guys, haven't been on this forum for a while. My rear left wheel arch is starting to bubble on my 93 lude. I know I can get it patched and repainted but I also know it will come back . Is there anywhere to source quarter panels or arch repair kits for these cars or is there any car with a wheel arch of the same diameter that can be used. I'm looking for a long term solution rather than a patch.
Thanks Enda.

if you are looking for full replacements. cebul is probably the best person to talk to. Also see his thread here -

Think its a bit of a bummer but there are preventative measures that can be implicated to the body to avoid rust but its metal and we have awful roads and weather which does not bode well for cars.

Thanks for that, had a look at the thread, will probably purchase a set, I'm guessing its a matter of cutting out the old arches and wwlding in the new.

Yep cut out and weld the new ones in. Get some underseal on the inside of the new arches to stop them rusting again.
