Anyone made an office chair from 4G Seats?

I had a pair of seats in the garage for years (One being electric) and rather than throw them in the skip I'm thinking of making them into office chairs.

Anyone done this? I seem to recall that you can't remove the rails as the hinges are all apart of it

I cut part of the rail off so it sits flat and then cable tied wood blocks into the bottom. It's now a gaming chair for my wheel stand pro.
