Lo All
Question for all you DIYers
I am thinking of buying a bi-fold door to fit to my mothers bathroom.
She currently has a concertina style one.
The door opening is 686mm wide but a non standard 1965mm high.
What I want to do is buy the bi-fold door but to mount it in the conventional way ie 3 hinges on one side and not fit the rail or pivots.
I realise the door may wallow around but is there any reason why this won't work.
I can't see there being a weight issue on the hinges as it shouldn't weigh any more than a standard door.
As these doors are shorter any way to allow for the track at the top ect I also won't need to cut the door down.
Thoughts people
