Happy new year to you all...

Post by simonc » Sat Dec 16, 2017 3:18 pm

Hi all, arrived back in freezing Blighty on Monday and currently am suffering from numb fingers and toes. Blimey, it's been bloody cold. Just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas and let's all hope for a great year ahead in 2018. Thanks for all your help this past year, (again :D ), as ever, I really appreciate it.
Oh by the way, I've rented a car and guess what they gave me? A bloody Fiat 500. Oh the shame.....
Have a great Christmas, all the best, Si.

You're right on the money Toadster, if if it's not a hairdresser mobile, then it's certainly the car du jour for estate agents. It's definitely not doing my ultra-butch image many favours. Mind you, its only saving grace is the fact it has a gearbox. Good God, they're everywhere...

And here's a snap of the hairdresser/estate agent-mobile in question, on the one and only day we saw snow.

Now I'm back in the Prelude, I'm trying to indicate with the wiper stalk, and slamming on the brake to depress a non-existent clutch.

That's weird, I can see it and also the photos from the plane I posted on the 'Look what I did today' thread.
