most people would say it's because it looks unabused, in very good nick and great mileage for its age.

still UKDM and not JDM though

not worth that, no way no how. Its nice and clean but its a UK car and its a teg. that money could buy you a decent teg AND a skyline....

here is one for less than half the price and it looks as good...

Dc2s are constantly going up in value as that many of them have been broken for the engines to go into civics. Still rated as one of the best fwd cars ever to be made with proper lsd. Engines alone go for more than what most ludes go for. 197bhp from a little 1.8 that weighs just over a ton. What’s not to like?

This is based on previously owning a jdm dc2.

I am not saying they aren't a good car Newkid, but £10k is a bit silly imho...

Is there a difference between the JDM and UK ones for power etc?

I know JDM and all that shizzle are more sought but the UKDM are quite a rare beast.

£10k.......well if it was me i would import a fresh one for £7K.

Jdm had crazy things like a thinner windscreen to shed weight over the uk version.

I used to hate the UKDM DC2. Now I actually like it more, looks-wise, because it's different.

As for the value, I agree that's a lot of money, but as previously said - there are drokk-all of them left (especially un-abused) now unfortunately!

I always liked the UKDM DC2 for being different you couldn't mistake it for anything else whereas the JDM in the rear view would just look like an accord, not that theres anything wrong with an accord and i would jump on a CB7 if i could find one, or a CH1 if i had some spare cash, or a CL7 if i was feeling flush

I miss my 98 UKDM soooo much, best car I've ever owned and wish i'd never sold it, sadly i sold mine when prices were rock bottom, after buying a DC5, i am a total retard i know...
