Honda del sol enquiry
Hi all I know this may sound like an odd question what with this being a Prelude forum but, my friend is selling a 1992 vtec Honda del sol. It's in immaculate condition with 38,000 miles and a fsh with Honda, manual, targa top, turquoise colour, no rust all original parts. He's asking £4,500 is this a bargain or wayyyyy too much? Thanks all for your time
Curt
Ps I may purchase if it's a good deal

That's a lot of money. They are getting rare now though (good ones particularly) so might be worth it - in no way is it a bargain though.
Being 92, it will be pre facelift, so the less desirable grey/black half trim.
Need some more questions answered...
Transtop or manual roof?
UKDM or JDM?
What engine/model?

I like Del Sols and personally, I prefer the ukdm (seats are a much better fabric, for starters!) although as usual, most people get excited about a JDM one.
They rot badly though (usual rear arches area) and unless the roof/door seals are regularly lubricated with silicone, they dry out, shrink and wear and start to leak. Also, the skuttle shake is pretty bad
But yeah, I would definitely quite like to have one I'm the household again
B16 is more desirable than the D16 (unless the buyer is wanting to go turbo) but most would prefer the Transtop (me included).
So spec wise, this has pro's (manual, ukdm and B16) and con's (manual roof, pre-facelift)
Condition is king...

If so, yep that looks in fantastic condition.
Top money though, you should definitely be looking to get some a good chunk off that.
