If the Prelude becomes my second car...

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Weird, isn't it? A more or less empty car park, and some otherworldly magnetic force pulls these plonkers towards our cars.

Yes I think what you have described is a normal day on the roads here

completely get what you are saying with the parking issue. Park miles away so remote it hasn't seen sunlight in a millennia. Yet come back out and some granny in an Aygo or family of 10 in C2 have parked next to the car.

When I stopped using my last one as a daily it started going wrong more, nothing major, little niggles more than anything.

If it looks like jobby and smells like jobby it probably is jobby!

Just wondering the pros and cons of this myself, did you decide to retire the Lude from daily duties?
I've been looking at cheap HR-Vs' on eBay

How often do you think you would still run her, Simon?
In cold climates, leaving a car standing can be bad news, because you get condensation build up in all sorts of places (inside the engine, in the distributor etc)
That's not something you'll get over there, but things like brakes prefer being used frequently. All manageable though.

Reading with interest here.....it's funny, if the world was about to end I'd be doing a tour of Scotland in my beloved Prelude but, because it's in such good nick, I'm almost paranoid about getting out there!
