R.I.P Carroll Shelby

Died aged 89. Legendary car designer, he was also one of Americas longest living heart transplant recipients.
He also built one of my all time favourite cars, the Shelby Mustang GT500:

R.I.P. indeed I was in two minds to post this a couple of days ago when the news broke, a truely great man.

Love his work. The Shelby GT500 is also one of my all time favourite cars. Rest in piece Mr Shelby

The body of the man has died, but his is a legend and namesake that truly will live on forever!! All I can say is that I am glad he was alive during my lifetime, but sadly I can't see there being many, or even anyone like him, Boyd or any of the others who have died, in the lifes of the next generations.
