I think they are good, provided you buy a decent one.
My bb4 lives under one and it is helping it stand up well. You do have to wash and dry the car after every use though, before putting the cover on.

I went for one from coveryourcar (believe it was Stormforce). Fits and secures well, however after a couple of years if has deteriorated. I may try a Monsoon...

i had one many years ago the only problem i found with it was with the movement of the wind it rubbed the paint on some of the edges of some panels , so i think a snug securly fitted one is a must .
success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm :D :D

I bought one from Halfords a couple of year ago: Oxford brand.
It works well, but I feel like I'd like another strap for it.

cheapest ebay tat. car lives in the worst of all possible places. done ok. lets through fine particulate when rained on but stops all other mess. Its rubbish but it works.

I cant see the point on spending loads on something you cant really put in a washing machine so will eventually get full of grit and eat your car. Double layers just hold more moisture and waterproof just means a hermetic bubble over your car trapping any moisture under there with it.

Lo :D
Thanks for the comments guy's.
I was thinking of putting on and removing on nearly a daily basis so I probably will have to put up with the poop.
Maybe I should get a car port fitted to the house instead
Cheers ;)

One of those CLARKE put up garages would be my choice mate. Super solid, triple lined, big and strong.

Not cheap but will last a good long time (I drive past one thats bee up for 4 years and it looks fine) ad it will actually protect the car rather than offer a medium for particulates to rub into the paintwork.
