Car Cover Thoughts
Lo Peops
What do you guy's think of car covers
Washed my Lude yesterday and today it was peppered with bird doings
Looked up website that put Halfords All Season one top max 5 stars.
Go on Halfords website and some of this type gets 1 star not waterproof
Cheers for comments guys

I think they are good, provided you buy a decent one.
My bb4 lives under one and it is helping it stand up well. You do have to wash and dry the car after every use though, before putting the cover on.
I went for one from coveryourcar (believe it was Stormforce). Fits and secures well, however after a couple of years if has deteriorated. I may try a Monsoon...

cheapest ebay tat. car lives in the worst of all possible places. done ok. lets through fine particulate when rained on but stops all other mess. Its rubbish but it works.
I cant see the point on spending loads on something you cant really put in a washing machine so will eventually get full of grit and eat your car. Double layers just hold more moisture and waterproof just means a hermetic bubble over your car trapping any moisture under there with it.

One of those CLARKE put up garages would be my choice mate. Super solid, triple lined, big and strong.

Not cheap but will last a good long time (I drive past one thats bee up for 4 years and it looks fine) ad it will actually protect the car rather than offer a medium for particulates to rub into the paintwork.
