Another year, another MOT pass without advisory's

Every year the Lude just seems to pass without fault and without advisory's. Not bad for 21 years old on the original CAT too. It has only ever had 2 advisory's in its life and that was front tires close to legal limit. Overall I'm very pleased :D

Thanks, Its had a easy life really. I think i drive it a bit harder than my dad did so im expecting stuff to need replacing at some point but apparently everything is in top condition. MOT guy said it will pass many more MOT's and he's quite impressed with the condition. It seems little and often is good for a car. Leaving a car stood for a length of time can cause issues with things. 63k on the clock now.

Good for you. :D Must be a great feeling. ;)
Shame we don't have MOTs over here, it'd fail about 60% of all the cars currently on the road in the blink of an eye.

Wow no MOT im not sure if thats good or bad. I know i would be ok without MOT as i check my cars regularly for any faults. I also have common sense and can feel if anythings up. I dont think most people would though which would make our already bad accident record worse.

I agree completely, buddy but there is no political will to introduce a test like that over here. It just wouldn't wash.
