First a big thank you for NafemanNathan for fitting the sample to his beloved Lude, and for providing extensive photo footage.

I've emailed Mat at https://autocovr.com/ with the photos and with the hope I can negotiate further discount dependent on numbers. Currently it's 20 Euro and 5 Euro shipping.

One thought I had, given the the random delays due to customs, was I would order a batch of 10 and then distribute to members at cost. I'd then hope to reduce the 5 Euro charge for shipping. Or you'd be able to order direct from Mat at Autocovr, I'd simply have to let him know names so he knows it's the discount price to charge. With bulk orders I'd hope to shorten any delay for their laser cutting equipment, they seem to be offering an ever expanding line up for multiple cars.

I'll let you know when I hear back from Mat and hopefully news on the 4th gen design.

At the end of this I'd be grateful if you'd let me know if you where definitely going to buy one, that way I can let Mat know numbers. And for 4th gen owners could you let me know numbers, if there are enough it might encourage the 4th gen design.

Anyway some photos, courtesy of Nathan:

The unadorned dead pedal, (4th and 5th gen dead pedals are identical):

Original Honda Access pedals for the Prelude are impossible to find, with that in mind it's the Mugen set the cover is designed to fit with:

And Nathan's nicely polished Mugen, (style), race pedals:

Laid out with Autocovr's dead pedal cover:

Nathan found additional screws greatly increased its staying power, the grooves in the pedal surface reduce the contact for the adhesive, and the screws match those used for the gas pedal.

Now in situ, fitted, complete, ta da!

Now you've seen it let me know numbers and if you reckon a batch order for me to distribute is a good idea with the hope of further discount.

Thanks all for your patience and thanks again to Nathan for being the guinea pig.

Personally - I like it :D

That looks like a great match, well done.

(nb Nafe hasn't used the oem mugen screws for the accelerator pedal, either in style or fitment - should be allen head screws in the top and bottom holes that scren into brackets that sit over/behind the original pedal so no drilling required :ugeek:  )

But never mind! :D

What's the 4g style that was settled on?

I think the plan is the exact same, but 4G lettering for Prelude.

I have just PM'd Rich pointing out that my pedals are replicas. I was hoping he could edit the post before anyone noticed

The replicas actually come with two sets of fittings for the accelerator pedal. The 4 Allen key countersunk screws for use with the 2 backing plates and also 4 self-tapping screws (the ones I used).

I've always claimed they were replicas. I'm not embarrassed ;)

Nice, I'll take a 4th gen one, it'll compliment my fake Mugen pedals nicely.

There's a website called eBay. They might be worth emailing to see if they have any in stock.
