Which BMW hit my Lude?

Some ignorant f****r hit my parked prelude sometime overnight on 25 December and left without leaving a note!
They did leave a bit of their car though and it’s off a BMW.
So can anyone tell me which BMWs have this trim piece?

The mold will have a date stamp that will show when its made, so that should help narrow down the year.
But a quick look on autotrader shows it appears to be the lower rear bumper right hand side of a BMW M3:

or M4 - looks similar.
M5 / M2 are different

this is the kind of crap we have got to put up with these days - thats a hefty dent in the worst place
nice bit of evidence though for when you catch up with owner of the M4
dont let them off lightly - they would make you pay if you hit their car!

White M4 reversing out of neighbours drive. Can’t be many of those.

Hope You find out who it was matey.
I'm guessing You didn't see the car at any point in your neighbours driveway ?
Would they tell You who it belongs too ?
