Surprised at some of the social media sponsorship out there...

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Properly sticking my neck out here, will be interesting to see if I get flamed for this or not and other Mods/Admin on here free to decide if this is not acceptable subject matter/posting and lock/delete if not, but...

I'm really surprised by some of the businesses that are present on this forum @oilman and @Scott@H-Tune choosing to be associated with a guy who drives others peoples cars with such total and utter disregard for speed limits (I don't mean minor exceedance, I mean utterly blatant well exceedance) with stupid, dangerous overtaking manoeuvres and not only that, thinks it's clever to video himself doing it and then cover up his face during it, with a smiley face.

Couple of examples in these two videos (happen to be the only two I have watched from this guy);

Most on here will know that I'm no whiter-than-white or OAP killjoy etc but seriously, this bloke drives like a complete dangerous bell-end.
You might get big exposure, but I'm confused how being associated that sort of mentality is ultimately good for your businesses?
Interested to hear thoughts?

Note I haven't taken this up directly with the guy on youtube, deliberately - I know it would just turn into a pointless slanging match (youtube comments section is NOT the place for political discussion  !)

He's only covered his face in half the shots, not others, so really don't understand the point.

Even still, complete idiot

So you mean you're not fooled that the guy driving when he's breaking the law isn't him? :o

What on earth could have given it away?

I mean, it wouldn't be because there's only two of them in the car... and that when the 4thgenphil driving is happening, at times he's still talking... or that the passenger is obviously still the owner and the guy in the drivers seat is wearing the same clothes as when you see him in the rest of the video..?
 Surely that's so subtle, no one would spot/believe it, would they? :?

I've got no sound at work, but i bet his voice is as annoying as his face.

11.15 on the second video, I take it the smiley face just appears as he puts his foot down... "it wasn't me"

Thing is, our laws are probably worded as such that this is enough.

No hard proof it was him driving, only circumstantial which isn't enough

There's clear evidence of the car being driven dangerously/excessive speed. That's enough for them to start proceedings against the registered keeper (reg no. Is in video).
Registered keeper then has to provide details of the driver of the vehicle at the time, or they are by default responsible.

To be honest I’ve followed some of Toby’s videos

And to this day I can’t beileve he hasen’t been in court !

The local lad to us @wurlycorner also Vlogs

But as you say blatant skidding in the middle of the day with other people on the road! That is bait! And a accident waiting to happen
