Right so heres the latest on me, some good and some bad...

After what was an amazing weekend last week with meeting some of you on the Saturday (thanks by the way, it was nice to put some faces to names even though I wasnt as socialbe as I normally am) then continueing to Sunday winning my American Football game 42-0, We come to Monday (oh how I hate mondays) Decide to go home on my lunch and on my way back to work ended up going into the back of a mini (first ever accident) the lude is alright as far as I can see, the extent of the damage is mainly cosmetic being the front bumper, bonnet, and nearside headlight.

I only hit her at about 5-10mph but because my car is LOW and the point of contact was my headlight it looks REALLY ugly at the moment!

Not too keen on uploading the pics but will for you guys if ya wanted to see lol ( im still trying to forget it happened)

This is where the sympothy ends and the hatred begins lol

Anyway...on the up, As the job I do is for the US Military and requires American Citizenship ( I get away with it as im a dual national) they get the privillage of discounted fuel off the base to some what compensate them for supposedly being in a foreign country. So as im fullfilling the role as an American and am now passed my probational period I now get these privillages:

80p a litre!! (reg unleaded)
Tobacco/Alcohol (limited amounts but dead cheap)
Food (all the american fatty goodness)

And to conclude, unfortunately Ill most likely be keeping the lude off the road now to save some money and get her fixed and ready for future shows.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading lol

Mike

Well I'm glad you stoved your car in! Shame it wasn't worse!! Show me the picture, I want to laugh at it!!! :troll:

 Only joking bud ;-) Awesome perks and shame about the "incident" but at least it doesn't sound like much to put right :) How was the Mini? Have you got to put that right?

 nathan! ill upoad some once im home.

I cant beleive the week I get the perks ive been waiting for (and pretty much the only reason I really took the job lol) I crashed my car :( gutted is an understatement!

Ive only got 3rd Party F&T so the insurance will cover her "rear bumper scuff!!" and then rinse my hole for the next 2 years! and the worst thing was its one of those incidents where it is my fault because I hit her but her fault for being dumb! I will try and explain:

We were both at a T-Junction waiting to turn left...We were both stationairy, she was on her brakes and as she let off her brake when it was CLEAR and crept forward as if she was going, I was then looking right to see if I was also clear whilst also crepping forward...then BAM!! I look forward to find she decided not to go! :(

I hate incompetant drivers. They really burn my wick. Shame you can never use it against them

Is it not worth you paying cash for her "scuff" instead of going through the insurance? Or was she insistant?

I was more than willing to pay for her repairs but shes was snobby, talked down to me and quite rude. First thing she said when I got out and asked if she was alright was "don't talk to me, don't talk to me!" Then proceeded to get details from witnesses. It all seemed very dramatic for the lack of injury and damage. So I'm just waiting for a call from my insurance to see what the outcome will be. I'll upload the pics in the next post.

+1

She definitely came off better, there's barely any damage to the Mini. Not much damage to your cat either, as Mart said - looks like an easy fix.

I had a similar situation years ago in my EK Civic, hit someone at 5mph, a tiny scratch on his bumper that would polish out and they guy was waaaay over the top!

people are crap. she needs a slap imo

cracking news on the fuel though. just start banging it into jerrycans and sell it to us lot for £1.10

soon pay for your repairs.... of course you'll have to explain why you seem to be doing 17,000 miles a month in fuel :?
