Yes, yes, I know it's been a while and for that I apologise. 2019 was somewhat of a bumpy year, (and that's a hell of an understatement), and here I am back in Blighty after having been in and out and in and out of Huddersfield Royal Krankenhaus for treatments that were unavailable over in jolly old KL. Suffice to say, you've never been far from my thoughts and I do apologise for not keeping you guys in the loop. Saying that, my situation has been rather turbulent so it would have been a major bore listing my ailments as they arose. I closed my company last year and am sad to report that Linda and I were forced into a situation which meant we could be together. All in all a pretty sombre outlook.
Here's the saddest part of all. Blue Beauty is still in Malaysia which I cannot begin to tell you how much that fact hurts. It's being kept by Jason so I know it's in good hands and am working on a way to get her over here, as the long term prognosis means I won't be able to return to Malaysia because of my health issues.
Anyway, there's no point in listing the sheer horribleness of what went on (and to an extent, is still going on...) but wanted to say hi to you all and let you know the lad from the mystic east is now an unsettled and rather forlorn resident of Halifax. Oh yeah, the weather's driving me nuts.
Right, that's all for now, I'll be logging on regularly as I'd love to get back in touch and be a part of the gang once more.
I've missed you.
TTFN, Si.

Hiya fellas and ta so much for your kind words. Missing her (Linda and the Blue Beauty) so much it hurts. Got to get my act together financially as the first round of treatments in KL really cleared me out, (the wonderful world of private health care that doesn't actually cover you when you need it... :o
That's actually why I'm back in the UK and can only praise the NHS for the fantastic way they've treated me to nail the problems I've been having. Looking back at the visits to the Yorkshire Clinic and St James' in Leeds, I must be in hock to the NHS for about half a million quid. Like I said, I can't knock the things they've done.
It's funny but I've looked on Gumtree and Auto Trader at Preludes, but none have 'done it' to me as far as my lovely machine does. Ha ha, it must be love.
It's definitely a case of saving up a bit and getting her shipped over, I'm too deeply attached to leave her there. ;)
Thanks again and it's great to be back in touch with you guys.

Christ hope you are on the mend mate and sorry to hear of your situation.
Glad you are still alive and kicking and thinking you will get that beauty of a lude over here.

Hi Simon. Sorry to hear of your woes mate. I was just thinking about you the other day :) (Saw the same colour blue 4th gen up for sale not too far from me.)

Hopefully you'll get all the treatment you need now at least. And we can only but apologise for the current weather situation :?

Maybe this could even mean our paths could cross one day! :D ;)

Hi Nathan and thanks, buddy. Missed you too. :D Actually, now I'm back in Blighty I'm hoping that one of these days I'll be able to pop along one of the 'meets' I'd read about while I was over in KL. It'd be great to come along and finally meet up with the gang.
By the way, I treated the Prelude to a respray before the great unpleasantness took its hold, and will put up the shots of the process for you all to see.
Ha ha, I've forgotten how to post pictures (what a dimwit) so it may take me a few attempts to refresh my memory. Stay tuned, fellas.

Hi fellas. Just to let you know I'm attempting, in my usual half-baked fashion, to embed a video. I don't know if it's going to work...

Well, it seems as though it may have worked. :D
Not the best sound as the camera was placed through the sunroof, but driving through this landmark tunnel was a particular highlight of my time in KL. Hope you like it.
