Corona - who is doing what?

What's everyone's situation with this?

Personally, me and my girlfriend are lucky enough to be able to work from home so no issues with earnings or anything yet.

However, my girlfriend is pregnant and due in May so we are a bit worried so are keeping very strictly to the minimal social contact thing. Going a bit stir crazy what with WFH and only going out to do the food shop (which brings its own problems lol). I try and go for a walk most days and have started doing a mini gym routine 3 mornings a week using things like dumbbells and push up bars to make sure I stay active.

With the cancellation of all car shows and meets likely, I reckon my lude will have done about 200 miles between MOT's come June

Working from home, so unaffected at the moment. Until school closes tomorrow.

I've ordered a jobby ton of parts for the car and bike, if I'm grounded indefinitely then at least my projects'll get finished.

that's the way to do it 8)

nothing different for me so far, still at work - North Wales is the least affected area i think so quite lucky here. Gutted about the car shows, once my lude has an mot i'll just have to organise more drives out...

damn.

Luckily we're both able to work from home, so me and the mrs will be doing that for a little while. Tidied up all my junk in the spare room, and its now an office for the 2 of us.

Just went out for a jog aswell, gotta get some fresh air otherwise not much opportunity to do so!

If the weather picks up, ill start to do a little on the car in the evenings whilst its still light - just did a minor service, now for some brake refreshing and then a little cosmetic work...

Still scanning patients in MRI
We've had a few deaths at the hospital, and at some point I figure most staff will contract the virus.
For now just plodding on and washing my hands.
Some patients being sensible and staying home.
Weird times.

Sorry to hear about those that are struggling as a result of this :(

I manage software development teams and projects for a living which can easily be done remotely, most of us work from home at least once a week anyway so although it is disruptive to a point, it has not yet caused anyone to lose their job.

I just hope things recover to some kind of normality sooner rather than later!

Visited Morrisons yesterday, and it was like a Zombie Apocalypse. A wasteland!!

I have a couple of vulnerable people with me, so hoping for the best.

Keep calm, and carry on, or maybe just keep calm!

I would like to sneeze on some 4th Gens though. A 4th Gen with Corona is better than a 4th gen with rust.

One of the benefits to working in IT (me to)!. It will truly suck for people who are unable to absorb any shocks or get laid off as a result. My wife works for a retailer - they will feel the pinch for sure - and front line staff most likely to feel the brunt of the mitigation first (luckily she wont but that's a selfish broken suspension look to take).

So far, 2nd day of working from home - its OK. Got the tunes on, heating on , control of the lunch menu heh. 12 weeks might be a stretch, but the first few should be ok - as long as the weather picks up!
