THAT other site

Post by vti2003 » Mon May 28, 2012 8:36 am

Just been over to PUK to check the "for sale" threads as I do every now and then.

For some reason I had been logged out. Before I could log in the compuer went crazy.

Virus and Trojan warnings all over the place. Wanting to run about 8 or 9 processes in sandbox. Multiple window openings and once I had shut it all down it kept trying to run some flash software of some sort.

All scanned OK with AV but if you do go over there be careful. It is definitely getting worse.

WHY anyone still uses that site when this is here I don't know. It really is a virus ridden POS.

yeh, i picked up a ransom ware trojan when i tried to log into the other site, im not saying i picked it up there but seems abit of a coincedence, now with you too
be carefull, the flash software could be the ransomware trying to run, it used your activex, ignore the trojan warnings there just another trick to try and get you to click on them, some imitate windows warnings, like security essentials window. do not act on these warnings, just get out of the site and run a full sweep. might be a good idea to delete the puk cookies

The trojan warnings came from my AV software, there was a load of them as well as a couple of virus warnings.

It winds me up when sites allow this sort of stuff and don't stop it.

Did they ever ban SH Driver? I guess he is their most active user, apart from Nitin of course.
